Mon Dieu!
Un livre de couture ... avec mon nom dessus ... des photos de moi ... quelques unes de mes réalisations ... disponible dans toutes les bonnes librairies. Wow! Si on m'avait dit ça il y a un an, je ne vous aurait pas cru! D'ailleurs je n'y ai pas cru jusqu'à ce je l'aie en main tellement ça me paraissait irréel.
On y trouve les patrons de l'émission plus quelques autres de Maud / Made In Me Couture, la rédaction de Marie-Noëlle Bayard, Olivia Sarini et Stéphanie Pelleray de chez M6 Editions, éditrices et mannequins à leurs heures, la mise en page de Stéphanie Brepson, les photos de Marie Amélie Tondu et de Aurélie Miquel. Comme pour l'émission, ce fut un effort collaboratif et le résultat est ma foi fort joli.
J'ai essayé d'y mettre mon petit grain de sel, un patron de sac et de tablier.
J'ai quelques séances de dédicaces de prévues, la première étant le 28 octobre de 14h30 à 16h30 au Self Tissu de Quimper. La deuxième, le 31 octobre entre 10h et midi à la Maison de la Presse de la Trinité sur Mer. Je les annoncerai sur ma page FB.
C'est un très joli souvenir d'une aventure formidable, mes parents vont être super fiers!

My God!
A sewing book ... with my name on it ... with pictures of me ... some of my sewing ... in French but available worldwide. Wow! You would have told me this a year ago and I would have said "get out of here!" Actually, I didn't really believe it until I got one in my hands, it's like so far out!
In it are the patterns Maud from Made In Me Couture drew for the show and a couple more, writing by Marie-Noëlle Bayard, editing and occasional modeling by Olivia Sarini et Stéphanie Pelleray from M6 Editions, graphic design by Stéphanie Brepson, pictures by Marie Amélie Tondu and Aurélie Miquel. As with the tv show, it's a collaborative effort and a pretty one at that.
I was able to sprinkle some sewing wisdom, a handbag pattern and an apron.
There will be 2 signings next week, October 28th at Self Tissu in Quimper and on the 31st at La Maison de la Presse in La Trinité sur Mer. I'll list the rest of them in events on my FB blog page.
It's such a wondeful souvenir of this formidable adventure, my parents are going to be so proud!
