Chucks!
Despite my best efforts at fitting the muslin, it seems I got something wrong when I transferred alterations to the pattern or, I forgot to write things down back in March but, the whole back was bloody huge!
I showed my back to Michèle, she very patiently pinned me and came home with this which was kind of daunting as I knew it would leave a huge gaping hole in the back armhole because my sewing margins are so small, so I waited until I had a moment of clearheadedness, some time and patience to fix it. Any other state of mind would have been catastrophe.
I did a fairly good job. For the sleeve head, I used Ann Rowley's method as my fabric unravels like crazy and this is a neat way to enclose the seam and get a nice sleeve head.
On to the collar... stay tuned.

Même en faisant de mon mieux en bidouillant ma toile, il semble que j'aie oublié quelque chose en transférant mes modifications au patron et comme je n'ai rien noté en mars, le dos était gigantesque!
Je suis retourné voir Michèle qui m'a gentiment épinglée et suis revenue à la maison avec ça, ce qui était intimidant. Je savais très bien que ça allait me faire une trou béant à l'emmanchure parce mes marges de couture sont petites. J'ai donc attendu d'avoir les idées claires, de la patience et du temps pour refaire tout ça. Tout autre état mental aurait été catastrophique.
Je m'en suis pas mal sortie. Comme le tissu s'effiloche, j'ai monté ma tête de manche comme celle d'Ann Rowley (c'est une série de photos, vous pouvez y aller) et j'ai fait d'une pierre deux coups : ça protège la couture et ça vous fait une belle tête de manche.
J'attaque le col... suite au prochain Ă©pisode.
